Cardiovascular Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab) 20-Week Contract Assignment | Competitive Pay - $80/hr | Immediate Opening We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cardiovascular Technologist to join a high-performing Invasive Cardiology Department for a 20-week contract assignment. Performs cardiovascular procedures in the Invasive Cardiology Department under the supervision of the Cardiologist and/or the Electrophysiologist at a level not requiring constant supervision of the technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment. Assumes responsibility for designated Lab and any procedures performed in that Lab as required. Responsible for basic patient care and quality customer service. Cardiovascular Technologist working in the Cardiac Cath Lab must take call as assigned and be able to report to work within thirty (30) minutes of page/call.
Required Qualifications
Require graduation from an accredited Health Science program (Associate of Science degree or higher) or graduate of an approved/accredited school or cardiovascular program.
Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS and/or RCES) OR - Require one of the following: - Registered Radiologic Technologist - Registered Respiratory Therapist - Registered Nurse
Require current licensure or registration in the state of Florida (excluding CVT).
Require current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications within ninety (90) days of hire date.
