Supports physicians and clinicians by managing patient flow, recording vital signs, and assisting with clinical exams and procedures. Handles administrative tasks including scheduling, phoning in prescriptions, and maintaining medical records.
Requires a high school diploma and current CPR certification, with a preference for a Medical Assistant certificate. Preferred experience includes 1-3 years as a medical or nursing assistant and phlebotomy skills.
$21.09-$35.65 Per Hour **Final offer amounts are determined by a review of the candidate’s applicable experience and qualifications, as well as, internal employee equity considerations. Job Scope: Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care (i.e. exams, and procedures). Performs clinic support tasks including miscellaneous clerical tasks, answering phones, and maintaining physician’s schedule. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
