Position Summary

Under the direction of the Behavioral Health Director, the LMFT provides high-quality counseling and mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. You will play a key role in helping patients navigate life challenges, improve relationships, and achieve emotional wellbeing.

What you’ll do

You will

  • Provide marital, family, and individual counseling (including relationship, premarital, separation, and child counseling)
  • Conduct assessments using interviews, observations, and standardized tools
  • Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral conditions
  • Identify and address communication and relationship patterns
  • Help patients develop healthier coping strategies and behaviors
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with patients on post-treatment and wellness goals
  • Coordinate care with internal teams and external resources
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with clinical and billing standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team care and case coordination

What we’re looking for

  • 🎓 education & experience
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or related mental health field
  • Minimum 3 years of post-degree clinical experience (preferred)
  • 📜 licensure
  • Current Hawaiʻi LMFT license (required)

Requirements

Requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or a related field and a current Hawaiʻi LMFT license. A minimum of 3 years of post-degree clinical experience is preferred.
