The technician performs and reports results of defined laboratory procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include specimen prioritization, quality control, and routine instrument maintenance.
Candidates must have completed an accredited MLT program and possess basic computer literacy. Temporary state licensure or national certification is required, with full licensure needed within six months of hire.
Utilizes laboratory skills to perform and report results of clearly defined laboratory procedures assuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime and call back as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
