Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates respiratory care for inpatients and outpatients of all ages. Provides essential respiratory therapy services at Piedmont Medical Center.
Requires an Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care program and current South Carolina licensure. Must hold CRTT or RRT certifications and obtain BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care given to inpatients and outpatients to patients of all age populations at Piedmont Medical Center requiring respiratory therapy services.

Graduate of Accredited and Approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program; Associate degree required.
No previous experience required; 2 to 5 years of job-related experience preferred.
Current Respiratory Therapy Licensure through South Carolina Medical Examiner’s office. CRTT required, RRT preferred. (Verified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire. American Heart Association PALS and ACLS certifications required within orientation period. NRP certification required for NICU trained therapists.
