The dental assistant supports the dentist in providing oral healthcare and performs a variety of interventions to contribute to patients' overall oral health. Responsibilities include assisting with dental procedures, maintaining patient records, managing scheduling, and ensuring infection control standards.
Candidates should have a current dental assistant license and preferably 3+ years of recent experience, including military or OCONUS contractor experience. A 2-year dental assistant program completion and Basic Life Support certification are also required.
