Certified Medication Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Assistant to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any concerns to charge nurse
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and patient responses
• Assist with patient assessments and provide basic health education under supervision
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medications in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated care
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff

Skills and Qualifications

• Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare training preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach with good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care standards
