The Hospice RN performs comprehensive patient assessments and initiates and revises care plans based on patient needs. They coordinate with physicians and counsel both patients and families to ensure quality nursing care.
The Hospice RN will be responsible for initial, comprehensive and ongoing assessments, initiating the plan of care and making revisions as the patient's needs change, counseling patient and families in meeting nursing needs, communicating with the physician regarding patient's needs and reporting any changes in the patient's condition, obtaining and receiving physician's orders as required, and counseling field staff when the need arises.
This is a per diem position. You will be placed on our roster for your specified city coverage list. As cases becomes available, we will contact you to check your availability and confirm your interest in accepting the assignments.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school with a valid California license, CPR certification, and a driver's license. A current physical, TB test, and a successful background check are required.
