Provide anesthesia services across multiple hospitals and surgery centers using a care team model. Perform a wide variety of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics, while managing in-house call rotations.
The St.
Elizabeth division of Seven Hills Anesthesia, located in Northern Kentucky, is seeking Anesthesiologists for both partnership and employed physician opportunities.
Our St.
Elizabeth Division is currently offering a $50,000 sign on bonus for anesthesiologists.
We employ a care team model in a collaborative environment.
A typical day is 4:1 supervision, and approximately 10% of the time the job will require performing your own anesthetic.
Our group performs a wide variety of cases.
A majority of our caseload is general surgery and orthopedics.
We also perform spine, neuro, ENT, surg onc, vascular, EP, IR, ophtho, endoscopy, GYN, obstetrics, and thoracic cases.
Infrequently, we have pediatric patients which are screened to be healthy and appropriate for a non-pediatric hospital.
Our hospitals are not trauma centers and do not do transplant surgery.
We have an open heart and TAVR program which a new hire could join if they desired, fellowship not required but TEE skills necessary.
All physician anesthesiologists perform regional blocks.
Peripheral nerve block catheters are used very infrequently.
Occasionally surgical epidurals are placed.
We do not have a dedicated pain service aside from rounding on inpatient catheters placed by our team.
We also enjoy a variety of practice settings.
We cover one large hospital (St.
Elizabeth in Edgewood, Kentucky), two small hospitals (St.
Elizabeth Florence, Kentucky and St.
Elizabeth Ft.
Thomas, Kentucky), two surgery centers, an outpatient ENT center, an outpatient eye center, with more opportunities for growth on the horizon.
In-house call is taken at Edgewood, which is where are all obstetrical care occurs.
We have one physician on in-house call a night, split evenly.
Post-call day is off.
Three physicians a night are on secondary call, one for each hospital.
Partnership track physicians enjoy a reduced, consistent call schedule.
4 total call assignments will be given per month.
