The CNA provides essential patient care, including hygiene, vital signs monitoring, and maintaining a clean environment under nursing supervision. They are also responsible for reporting abnormal findings and acting as a safety sitter when necessary.
A Texas State Certified Nurse Aide License and BLS certification within 30 days of hire are required. One year of clinical experience and basic computer skills are preferred.
Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and accountable to the licensed nursing staff members, the CNA assists in providing patient care, and maintaining records and a clean environment.
