The CNA provides direct patient care, including hygiene, vital sign monitoring, and meal assistance under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean patient environment and acting as a safety sitter when necessary.
A Texas State Certified Nurse Aide License and BLS certification are required upon hire. One year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
