Provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced OB/GYN practice, including rooming patients and assisting providers during examinations. Responsibilities include documenting vital signs, performing blood draws, and maintaining accurate electronic health records.
Requires at least one year of healthcare experience and a certification as a CMA, CNA, or a degree in Medical Assisting. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy OB/GYN practice serving patients in St. Petersburg and Largo, Florida. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate a positive and energetic attitude while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced women’s health environment.
Patient Care: Room patients, prepare them for examinations and procedures, and assist providers during visits Clinical Duties: Obtain and document vital signs, perform blood draws, collect specimens, and administer injections Provider Support: Assist OB/GYN providers during examinations and in-office procedures Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record (EHR) system Patient Experience: Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced office environment Communication & Teamwork: Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff while supporting smooth clinic flow Organization & Compliance: Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms while following HIPAA and safety protocols Additional Support: Assist with front office and other clinical duties as needed
Healthcare Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office or healthcare administrative setting Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or completion of an accredited program resulting in a certificate or associate degree in Medical Assisting Clinical Skills: Comfortable performing in-office blood draws and other basic clinical duties Bilingual Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish Organization & Teamwork: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, providers, and staff at all levels Multitasking: Demonstrated ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers, EHR/EMR systems, and Microsoft Office applications Professionalism: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality, and compassionate approach to patient care Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive situations professionally, and de-escalate when needed Commute: Ability to reliably commute to both office locations in St. Petersburg and Largo, FL Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future
