The Clinical Pharmacist optimizes patient care through safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical services, including drug dispensing and IV admixture. They also provide drug information and oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
Candidates must hold a B.S. or Pharm D from an ACPE-accredited school and a valid state pharmacist license. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, with a preference for a Doctor of Pharmacy and one year of inpatient experience.
The clinical pharmacist I optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.
