The ER Technician administers patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, following specific care plans based on patient age and diagnosis. They perform direct and indirect duties to maintain smooth patient flow within the Emergency Department.
Candidates must hold a current BLS certification and be an EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, or a nursing student with two semesters of clinicals. CPI and basic dysrhythmia certifications are required within specific timeframes post-hire.
