The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures based on a plan established by an Occupational Therapist. They are responsible for maintaining high-quality patient care under the supervision of the rehabilitation leadership team.
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant functions under the general supervision of the rehabilitation leadership team and the Director of Rehabilitation Therapy Services and under the direct supervision of the therapist responsible for a specific patient's care. The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by an Occupational Therapist and in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies while maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
