Independently performs registered nurse functions in direct patient care within the operating room. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver developmentally appropriate and comprehensive care plans for patients and families.
Requires a BSN, a current Texas nursing license, and at least one year of job-related experience. Mandatory certifications include BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS, with PACES required within 180 days.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
