Provides administrative and clinical support including registration, scheduling, and copay collection for an imaging center. Performs phlebotomy and assists technical and physician staff across MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Lab areas.
Requires a high school diploma, CPR certification, and 1-3 years of phlebotomy and medical office experience. Proficiency in medical terminology and Microsoft Office is mandatory.
The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant Level 5 position at the Quarry Walk Imaging and Diagnostics Center at Quarry Walk will provide a variety of functions including registration, front end office operations, manage outpatient schedules and precerts, copay collection, perform phlebotomy and provide clinical assistance in the Center to the technical and Physician staff. This staff member will support daily operations to the MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, and the Lab areas within the Quarry Walk Imaging Center.
High school graduate. CPR certification required. Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Position requires the ability to concentrate on details in spite of interruptions and attend to tasks for more than 30 minutes at a time. Individuals must be able to understand and relate theories behind several related concepts and remember multiple tasks given over long periods of time.
