AcutePet Urgent Care is opening on Cincinnati’s West Side in White Oak, OH this August - and we’re intentionally building a founding team of veterinarians who want more than just a job.
This area has strong GP relationships, loyal pet-owning families, and limited urgent/emergent support nearby. Our White Oak hospital is being designed to give pets timely care, give GP teams a trusted partner, and give veterinarians a sustainable way to practice high-quality urgent care medicine.
If you want ER-style case variety without overnight ER burnout — and you’d like a voice in shaping workflows, culture, and standards from day one — this is worth a conversation.
This isn’t stepping into an established hospital with fixed systems and legacy culture. It’s helping define one.
This is that opportunity.
Why white oak?
Cincinnati’s West Side has strong primary care relationships, loyal pet-owning families, and a clear need for accessible urgent/emergent support. Our White Oak hospital is being built to give GP teams a trusted place to send cases that need same-day diagnostics, stabilization, and treatment — without defaulting every patient to a full-service ER.
All without overnights or major holidays.
We’re hiring founding DVMs who want to help establish the clinical tone and culture of this hospital from day one.
We’re a vet-owned organization built by people who understand the real demands of this profession. Our leadership team includes experienced DVMs, Managing Veterinarians, and a board-certified criticalist serving as Chief Medical Officer.
Behind the scenes, our operational team bring real-world veterinary hospital experience - ensuring teams are supported, not squeezed.
We believe great medicine and balanced lives are not mutually exclusive.
If you’re ready to help build a hospital that reflects your standards, your voice, and your commitment to great medicine - we’d love to connect.
