About the role

Operate C-arm equipment in a procedural setting to obtain high-quality imaging results. Prepare and position patients for radiological exams while reducing patient anxiety through clear communication.

  • Gainesville Pain Surgery Center is seeking a Full Time Radiologic Technologist to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our surgery centers in Gainesville and Buford.
  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday, plus one Friday per month
  • Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
  • C-Arm/Operating Room experience preferred
  • Travel to Buford surgery center required

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate C-arm in a procedural setting to obtain optimum imaging results, using technical/clinical knowledge and ability.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures and the exam process by performing effective positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment according to specific instructions, and adjusting exposure controls.
  • Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of treatment, and answering any questions.

Requirements

  • A valid and current GA Radiologic Technologist license
  • A valid and current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
  • C-arm/Operating Room experience preferred
  • Current BLS
  • The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity
  • Ability to travel, as needed
