This position focuses on neuro and spine procedures, ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate care before, during, and after surgical and other invasive interventions.
The RN collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team, maintains a sterile environment, and adheres to established clinical standards and protocols to optimize patient outcomes.
Our Weekend Flex Program offers an excellent opportunity for flexibility to enjoy personal time, all while providing quality patient care on the weekends.
With this schedule, you will work two 12-hour shifts every weekend and one during the week.
Weekend shift options start at 7:00PM on Fridays and end at 7:30AM on Mondays.
Serving in this role allows you to be with loved ones, fulfill life responsibilities, take care of children and complete anything else that may interfere with a typical weekday workload.
Even more, Cleveland Clinic offers 36 hours but will pay you for 44 hours.

A caregiver in this position works 2 12-hr shifts on Saturday and Sunday and 1 12-hr shift during the weekday.
Start times begin at 7:00am and end at 7:30pm.
Orientation is 6 months long, Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
There is no required call rotation and limited holiday coverage needs when working a weekender flex schedule.
A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
Perform scrub and circulating functions.
Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within six months of hire if performing moderate/procedural sedation Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) Physical
Requirements
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds and ability to push, pull, and navigate supply carts weighing > than 75 pounds periodically.
