Provide safe, age-specific nursing care to ICU patients and families using the nursing process to maintain optimal health. Implement relationship-based care and collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Requires a Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid RN license in Ohio or a Multi-State Compact. At least one year of RN experience is required, with prior ICU experience strongly preferred.
Diploma in Nursing or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required) (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred) (MN) Master in Nursing (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency) Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency) 1 year of RN experience required. Prior ICU experience strongly preferred $6000 Sign on Bonus for external applicants with 1 year of RN experience Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire) and Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire) or obtained in nursing orientation Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit.
