The Pharmacy Specialist manages the receipt, storage, and dispensing of study drugs while ensuring strict compliance with FDA regulations and study protocols. They also develop training programs for clinic staff and coordinate study close-out procedures with sponsors.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, and a valid Pharmacy Technician certification licensed by the Board of Pharmacy. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and IVs is required.

K2 is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Specialist to support our clinic out of Winter Garden, FL in a full-time capacity.
The Pharmacy Specialist assists the Pharmacy team in the administrative and technical operations of the pharmacy. This role involves assisting in the development and continued evaluation of a training process for Clinic staff interacting with the pharmacy, to assure compliance with pharmacy procedures (i.e., drug accountability, storage, administration of doses, and proper documentation of the trail of study drug to and from the pharmacy).
