At Logan Health, our Hematology & Oncology team provides specialized care and support for patients facing cancer and blood disorders. We are seeking a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused specialty clinic. Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Perform competency-validated clinical tasks and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments.
Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications.
Preferred Experience
One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred.

Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
