Assist clinicians in providing medical care by preparing patients, obtaining medical histories, and performing point-of-care testing. Administer medications and vaccinations while providing essential follow-up instructions and preventive care education to patients.
To assist the clinician in providing medical care to the patients of the Medical Practice.
Prepares materials, supplies, equipment, and the patient to assist clinician with the patient's medical exam. Obtains the patient's history and medical information. Provides direct patient care as directed by a Registered Nurse or clinician. Collects and processes specimens as directed by the clinician and performs point of care testing. Administers medications, and vaccinations as directed by the clinician. Instructs the patient and family on how to perform clinician recommended preventive care, takes prescribed medication, prepares for tests, monitors treatment progress and notes symptom changes. Contacts the patient to provide requested follow-up, advises them of test results or relays clinicians instructions. Fulfills and adheres to all compliance responsibilities related to the position. Maintains and Models the Organization's values. Demonstrates regular, dependable, and predictable attendance. Performs other duties as required. Other Information: Ability to travel between practices as needed.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited LPN program. Must hold an active LPN license and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
