Assist licensed pharmacists in pharmacy department activities including batch, dose, and stock preparations. Manage Pyxis functions, medication distribution, and maintain assigned departmental areas.
Requires a high school diploma and a WV Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training license. Candidates must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 15 months of hire.

Satisfactory completion of the on-the-job pharmacy technician training program.
Typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m.; basic computer skills; good math skills; above normal motivation; demonstrated ability to assume responsibility; good moral character and integrity; ability to communicate with and present a pleasing personality to the public and the institutional staff; ability to acquire the appropriate knowledge and skills required.
