The Nurse Practitioner manages all aspects of oncology patient care, including comprehensive assessments and the oversight of conventional chemotherapy. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with physicians and clinical staff.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program with a valid NP certification and an Advanced Practice Certificate. A minimum of 2 years of oncology experience and OCN certification are required, along with BLS and AZ prescribing licensure.
