The Paramedic is a licensed Paramedic and functions under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurse, Department Director, Clinical Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab, and physician(s). He/she assists with patient care by performing clinical & supportive functions that he/she has documented competency to perform. The Paramedic adheres to policy, procedures & established standards of practice.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a State of Florida Paramedic License. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, along with CPI certification within three months of hire.
