The oral and maxillofacial surgeon will conduct a variety of surgical procedures, including extractions and implant placements, while managing conditions affecting the oral cavity and facial structures. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must have a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) and have completed or be enrolled in an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. Board certification or eligibility in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is required, along with preferred experience of at least 1 year.
Conduct a range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, implant placements, bone grafting, sedation, and orthognathic surgeries. Evaluate and manage conditions affecting the oral cavity, jaw, and facial structures. Deliver thorough pre-operative assessments and attentive post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of dental professionals to provide integrated and patient-centered treatment plans. Uphold the highest standards of safety and sterility within the surgical setting. Build trust and rapport with patients through clear communication, empathy, and exceptional clinical care.
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD). Completed or are currently enrolled in an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Preferred Skills: 1+ years’ experience working as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care. Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
