Provides health care services, applying radiation energy to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients.
Performs diagnostic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed healthcare provider.
Exercises professional judgement in the performance of these services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethical principles.
Provides appropriate patient care and monitors patient conditions essential for successful completion of any procedure.
Care is provided to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
This position may not perform any fluoroscopy exams nor administer any form of contrast media.
In addition to imaging duties, helps with registration of patients, and assists with patient procedures such as splinting.
Job Requirements In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: Education Requirements: Completion of training in an approved school desired Current enrollment in an approved school as a second year student acceptable License/Certification Requirements: Current Limited Scope X-Ray Certification State of employment Limited scope Operator ARRT registration and must be maintained in good standing.
