The Clinical Nurse provides essential support in patient care by assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education. Key duties include recording patient histories, administering medications, and coordinating follow-up care.
Candidates must hold a valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Iowa. Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting and familiarity with EPIC are preferred.
Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures Room patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR) Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Valid and current RN licensure in the state of Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) – Iowa Board of Nursing Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred Familiarity with EPIC a plus! For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing #UPC123
