The Medical Assistant facilitates patient visits and procedures, including routine laboratory tests and referrals, within an ambulatory health care site. They are also responsible for maintaining exam rooms, documenting care in EPIC EMR, and participating in quality initiatives.
Candidates must have a medical assisting certificate or a high school diploma with one year of recent physician practice experience. Medical Assistant certification is required within six months of hire.
