Provide professional nursing care and individualized care plans for hospice patients in home or alternate site settings. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage symptoms and provide education to patients and families.
Requires a current North Carolina RN license, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with insurance. Candidates must have prior hospice experience and at least two years of experience in med-surgical, critical care, or home health.
Location: Territories varied through 9 counties in central NC
The Duke HomeCare, Hospice and Infusion Services team is active in delivering exemplary care for each patient to ensure an excellent patient experience, every time. This PRN hospice RN role focuses on providing compassionate, home-based and on-call care for patients and families requiring end-of-life support.
• PRN 8 & 12 hour shifts; 1 p.m.-9 p.m. and/or 5 p.m.-5 a.m./8 p.m.-8 a.m.
