The Medical Assistant supports patient care by preparing exam rooms, recording vitals, and assisting with clinical procedures like EKGs. They also handle administrative tasks including patient greeting, phone management, and insurance verification.
Graduation from a NYS-accredited Medical Assistant program and BCLS certification are required. Certification from NHA, AMT, AAMA, or NCCT is preferred.
