The Veterinary Technician is responsible for triaging patients, performing diagnostic imaging, and administering treatments in a fast-paced urgent care environment. They also provide high-quality nursing care and communicate treatment plans clearly to clients.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of veterinary technician experience and the flexibility to work rotating weekends. Strong communication skills and competence in lab processing and anesthetic monitoring are required.

Join our dedicated urgent care team as a Veterinary Technician, where you'll play a critical role in patient care, client communication, and life-saving support. Key Responsibilities: As a Veterinary Technician in our urgent care setting, your duties will include (but are not limited to): Safely restrain animals using low-stress handling techniques Triage and assess incoming patients to prioritize care Collect and analyze laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, skin, etc.) Perform diagnostic imaging and accurately capture radiographs Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical prep, procedures, and recovery Provide high-quality nursing care to stable and critical patients Accurately document patient histories and interpret medical records Communicate treatment plans clearly and compassionately to clients
We’re looking for: Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience (required) Flexibility to work rotating weekends (required) Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a collaborative attitude Excellent communication and customer service skills Solid understanding of preventative care, hospital workflow, and surgical procedures Competence in sample collection, lab test processing, radiograph positioning, and anesthetic monitoring The ability to accept and act on constructive feedback to support hospital efficiency A self-starter mentality with a commitment to continued learning and professional development
