The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients to restore them to their maximum functional performance level. They are also responsible for completing discharge planning for their patients.
A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and licensure by the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy are required. A Master's or Doctoral degree and experience in adult or geriatric therapy are preferred.
