What you will do We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I or II) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing venipunctures and other specimen collection procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include preparing patients for blood draws, properly labeling and handling specimens, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
The CPT will also be expected to follow all infection control and safety guidelines, maintain accurate records, and comply with California Department of Public Health (CA DPH) regulations.
Strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to quality care, and maintaining current certification and training are essential.

Stay updated on phlebotomy techniques and regulations, participating in ongoing education.
Ensure compliance with CA DPH regulations and maintain required licensures.
California Dept. of Public Health (CDPH) License in Phlebotomy (CPT-I) Minimum of one year phlebotomy experience in a healthcare setting Ability to work alone and can follow protocol, procedures, and regulations Must be able to work weekends High school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Proof of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) if applicable Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Must have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
