The Admissions Counselor is responsible for facilitating admissions, conducting clinical intake assessments, and managing utilization review processes to ensure appropriate patient care. They must develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families while coordinating admissions and transfers within the facility.
A bachelor's degree in a social services field is required, with a master's degree preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in mental/behavioral health and relevant licensure as designated by the state.
Clinical professional is responsible for facilitating admissions, clinical intake assessments, and utilization review processes to assure continuity for the most appropriate level of care for patients and their benefit/resource utilization.
