The Rotational Dental Assistant supports dentists and hygienists in providing oral healthcare to children across various clinic sites. This includes assisting with diagnosis, treatment, and prevention within a mobile dental program.
Candidates must be a Registered Dental Assistant licensed in Texas with a high school diploma and certifications in CPR, OSHA, and Dental Radiology. Preferred candidates have pediatric chairside experience and are bilingual in English and Spanish.
JOB PURPOSE The Rotational Dental Assistant supports the Dentists and Dental Hygienists in providing dental care to patients within the St. David's Dental Program. This role provides dental services at various clinic sites. The daily location of the Rotational Dental Assistant may fluctuate based on the needs of the program.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, with effective verbal, interpersonal, written, and presentation skills. Minimum of one year of chairside experience. Minimum of one year of chairside experience as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. Minimum of one year of chairside experience in a mobile dental program.
