Performs and records two-dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations to evaluate anatomical and functional patient data. Collaborates with providers to determine if additional imaging is required and manages patient intakes.
Requires completion of an accredited ultrasound program and registration (or eligibility) with ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft software.
This is a PRN position.
Performs and records two-dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional patient data. Completes patient intakes via collection of medical history and answers patient questions regarding imaging procedures. Confers with providers on the results of imaging tests and collaborates to determine if additional images required.
