The Registered Nurse evaluates critically ill patients, administers advanced care, and coordinates with the critical care team to manage life-threatening health problems. They are responsible for responding to life-saving situations, advocating for patients, and guiding the activities of ancillary personnel.
Candidates must hold a nursing license in Florida or a compact state and possess BLS and NIH certifications, with ACLS required within 90 days. A technical diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
