The technician is responsible for evaluating incoming emergency patients, prioritizing care, and assisting veterinarians with treatments and procedures. They also manage hospitalized patients, perform laboratory tests, and provide essential education to clients regarding home care and medications.
Prior veterinary experience is required, with a preference for those who have worked in emergency settings. Candidates must be proficient in medical calculations and capable of working efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
