The CNA is responsible for assisting RNs with patient care, including dressing, walking, and transporting patients during discharge. Additional duties include stocking recovery room supplies, cleaning bedside areas, and managing nourishment supplies.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED and a Certified Nursing Assistant certification. At least one year of directly related experience and knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient evaluation procedures are required.
Certified Nurse Assistant: Singing Hills Surgery Center is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant
The CNA duties will include stocking Recovery Room bedsides, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones and, assisting RN’s as needed. This roll will include transporting patients into the vehicles once they are discharged, Screening Questionnaires, cleaning/making beds, wiping down bedside areas, preparing linen bags if needed, monitor food supply level, stocking nourishment area and reporting when food is needed to be ordered.
