The Radiation Therapist is responsible for accurately delivering and recording radiation therapy treatments under the direction of an oncologist. Key duties include maintaining patient treatment parameters in electronic records and ensuring precise beam positioning for tumor volumes.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiation therapy technology program with ARRT certification and a valid state license. Experience requirements vary by level, ranging from 0 to over 5 years of active practice.
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program. ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy. Halcyon and IX Linac experience preffered Radition Therapist I: requires 0-3 years of experience Radiation Therapist II : requires 3-5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT. Senior Radiation Therapist : requires 5+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
