We’re seeking a Residential Counselor Aide to support clients in establishing recovery by delivering treatment, case management, and supportive services in a residential setting, in alignment with OneEighty's philosophy and best practices.
Provide substance use disorder treatment (individual, group, and family) primarily for adults, occasionally for children and adolescents. Co-facilitate groups exceeding 12 clients, including documentation support.
Deliver educational groups and assist clients with recovery-based assignments.
Participate in screening and admissions, including initial treatment planning and coordination of assessments.
Complete all clinical documentation accurately and within agency timeframes. Review client paperwork and sign passes weekly as assigned.
Manage contingency management orders, including preparing and distributing items to the residential facility.
Support client enrollment in specialty groups and aftercare during transition.
Meet individually with clients weekly (or more frequently) to support progress on case management goals.
Assist clients with daily living skills, chore list development, and recreational planning.
Coordinate and/or provide transportation to appointments (medical, legal, housing).
Support clients in accessing health insurance, food benefits, and initial medical appointments.
Link clients with appropriate housing services (e.g. Transitional, Housing, Outpatient, Metropolitan Housing).
Maintain regular communication with Medical Department regarding client care.

Provide community education on addiction, domestic violence, and sexual assault as opportunities arise.
Assist clients with navigating municipal, common pleas, and domestic relations courts.
