East Meadow Veterinary Clinic is hiring an experienced (2+ years) full-time Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to cats and dogs.

• Our full-time doctors work 5 days per week (40 hours) with a rotating Saturday schedule.
• You won’t be expected to stay late or be on call.
• Our hospital hours are Monday 8AM to 7PM, Tuesday 8AM to 8PM, Wednesday 8AM to 5PM, Thursday 8AM to 7PM, Friday 8AM to 5PM, Saturday 8AM to 5PM, and closed on Sundays.
• A 2:1 staff to doctor ratio.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution. Valid veterinary license in the state of New York About East Meadow Veterinary Clinic East Meadow Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, full-service hospital with a modern facility that has been thoughtfully expanded and updated over time, including a recent expansion. The hospital features fully equipped surgical and dental suites, digital radiology, DR radiology, and a full in-house IDEXX lab, along with advanced tools such as radiosurgery, digital dental x-ray, and updated surgical lighting. The team performs a wide range of procedures in-house, including advanced dental, general, and orthopedic surgeries, as well as abdominal ultrasounds, while partnering with specialists for select cases such as echocardiography and surgical consults. With 13 years of history and a strong focus on continued growth, the practice is built on a long-standing veterinary legacy and is known for its strong mentorship, having trained many new graduates over the years. With a close-knit, low-turnover team, the hospital places a strong emphasis on cleanliness, collaboration, and delivering high-quality care to both patients and clients.
