The Pre-OP Registered Nurse is responsible for preparing patients for surgery through medical history assessments, physical exams, and patient education. They collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety, administer pre-operative medications, and maintain a sterile environment.
Candidates must hold an active Texas RN license and have at least 2 years of experience in a PreOp or surgical nursing role. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and experience in an ambulatory surgery center is preferred.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate PreOp Registered Nurse, per-diem (PRN), to join our team at TOPS Specialty Surgical Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery by assessing their medical history, performing physical examinations, providing education, and ensuring they are ready for the surgical procedure.
