The University of Kansas Health System, St. Francis Campus is seeking an Advanced Cardiac Imaging specialist to join the dynamic team at our Heart & Vascular Center in beautiful Topeka, Kansas. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a well-established cardiovascular program while benefiting from the resources, innovation, and collaborative environment of a nationally recognized academic health system. About this Position

  • Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE)
  • Inpatient/Outpatient Mix
  • Single-Specialty Group of 9 Cardiologists, 8 APC, and support staff (RN, LPN, CAN, MA, secretarial and front office)
  • Clinical practice plus dedicated admin time, no research nor teaching required

  • On-Site: Nuclear Stress, Echo, Vascular Sonography, Coumadin Clinic, Cardiac Rehab, Vein Clinic
  • Referrals from Primary Care and Multiple Specialists
  • Schedule: varies, some weekend requirements

  • Load: Clinical 2-3 patients per hour; Inpatient varies
  • Call: 1:6 day rotation (5 per month), telephone only and with excess call pay
  • Smart
  • Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding—leading to better work-life balance and revenue.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent
  • ABIM Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiologist
  • Fellowship Training in Cardiology/Cardiovascular Diseases and Advanced Cardiac Imaging
  • Cardiology Fellows interested in a clinical setting are welcome to apply
  • Eligible for Licensure in Kansas
