At Colony Park Animal Hospital, we believe exceptional veterinary care starts with a supportive and engaged team. Our AAHA-accredited hospital is currently seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician who enjoys patient care, teamwork, and creating a positive experience for both pets and clients.

Our multi-doctor small animal practice provides preventive care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and compassionate treatment in a collaborative environment where technicians are encouraged to fully utilize their skills.

  • What we’re looking for
  • Active RVT credentials in North Carolina (or ability to obtain)
  • At least 2 years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong technical abilities including:
  • anesthesia monitoring
  • venipuncture and catheter placement
  • surgical assistance
  • dental and digital radiography
  • Comfortable managing appointments, treatments, and hospitalized patients
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A dependable team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment and contributes positively to hospital culture
  • Day-To-Day responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
  • Monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery
  • Perform laboratory sample collection and processing
  • Capture diagnostic-quality radiographs, including dental imaging
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Educate pet owners on preventive care and post-treatment instructions
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation
  • Support efficient patient flow and high-quality client service throughout the day
