The specialist is responsible for recruiting, screening, and licensing foster parents while ensuring all home files meet state and federal regulations. They also facilitate orientations and coordinate appropriate placements for children in out-of-home care.
A Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and pass comprehensive criminal and motor vehicle background checks.

As a Foster Care Licensing Specialist, you’ll be part of a foster parent’s Bethany team, supporting them and the child in their care. You’ll train, equip, and help connect foster parents to community resources to meet the child’s needs.
