The Medication Technician is responsible for administering medications and assisting residents with their healthcare needs at Cumberland Village Assisted Living (Cumberland Hills).
Required Skills/Abilities: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration protocols accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and punctual with a commitment to maintaining a safe and caring environment. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a state-approved medication technician training program. Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and physical stamina.
